Which Mayo to buy at The Spain Grocery Store?

Writer's picture: Michael HARTUNGMichael HARTUNG

A lot of the grocery store products in Spain tend to have less artificial ingredients and less fillers than those in the US. I'm an avid grocery shopper, love finding the best deals, and usually always read the labels to find the best product with the lease amount of ingredients.

I'm def not a health freak, I love to eat, drink and be merry! But when I can choose items that can help add less added chemicals to my food, that's what I do. I was in the condiment aisle one day at Mercadona (our large grocery chain here in the South of Spain) and a very old Señora was grabbing for this mayo, and I asked her if that was the best one. She told me out of all the mayo products this one is the best. After reading the label I decided to give it a try and never went back.

In case some of you don't know, mayo is basically just eggs and oil blended together really fast to make it creamy.
