Get up close to the dolphins at Gibraltar with Dolphin Safari Gibraltar. The trip starts out in the Marina at Ocean Village, with a 10-15 minute smooth boat ride out to the bay. I was slightly concerned that we would get wet, or water would splash up, but that didn't happen. The ride was very smooth featuring great views of Gibraltar, Spain, and Morocco.
Once out in the bay it was only a matter of minutes before a pod of dolphins was spotted around the boat. The dolphins were very close, just off the sides of boat, easy to see and fun to watch. I will say with the steady rocking of the boat and the constant movement of the dolphins, its quite difficult to capture great video and pictures of the dolphins. But just being there, seeing them up close, and being close enough to see there eyes as they pop out of the water is awe-inspiring. We saw several baby dolphins swimming around in the pod next to their mothers. They were so cute, you want to reach out and hug them.

The boat took off right on time, we were out in the bay within 10-15 minutes and seeing dolphins. We stayed out on the water for about an hour before we took the smooth boat ride back in to shore. The weather was perfect and the sea was smooth, we even saw a British Airways A320 fly overhead as it descended to land at Gibraltar Airport, one of the world's top ten most dangerous airports.

They also have a guarantee rate of seeing the dolphins. My earlier booked ticket for the day got pushed back to the 2pm time slot, because the conditions for the 12pm outing were not ideal. That was fine for me, because I would rather get out there and see the dolphins at the best possible viewing time. I also like how they limit the amount of people to 25 max. The boat had so much space to move around and allow everyone to get great views!
